Great transaction! Thank you so much! It's attractive, but it's not a good pepper grinder. I purchased it as a gift for someone who doesn't cook much, but if you actually plan on using it, I would look elsewhere.Quede facinada aun no lo e utilizado.I have a bittersweet feeling about these coasters which bear the name of the fashion icon who took her own life. The coasters are beautiful and I want to give them 5 stars just to honor her name. I love the polka dots and contrasting solid acacia wood. They are gorgeous with dots on one side and the Kate Spade brand name engraved on the other. The only issues I have with these are that 1) they are handwash only, although this is not a big deal since I have coasters made of stone that I only hand wash, and 2) there isn't a cork or rubber bottom to protect furniture or prevent them from sliding. The lack of protection on the bottom makes these seem a bit impractical as coasters. They are very slippery on my wooden coffee and end tables which is not very practical. Also, a cork bottom would at least soak up any spill or condensation before it reached my tabletop. At the time of this review there wasn't a retail price listed so I cannot comment on value but these are gorgeous coasters if you don't mind sacrificing a bit of practicality for style. These are quite beautiful, especially the wood tray. It has a a really nice finish. I know these say they are for salt and pepper, but I can also picture using them for dips and sake cups. Another thing I am sure I will end up using them for is mixing homemade face masks and homemade toothpaste. My mom is jealous because she wants to use these as her mouth rinse cups in the bathroom. My one wish is that these had a little wooden lid with a knob, to match the wooden tray.My wife is a fan of Kate Spade clothing and since the brand extended into the home category a few years ago she's picked up a few home accents from the label. This set of 4 Acacia wood coaster is certainly attractive in a simple kind of way.Being a set of coasters there isn't much to these, however, as has been pointed out already in several reviews, the coasters lack any type of underlayment or non-slip padding. This isn't a dealbreaker strictly speaking, and really up to the individual buyer to decide.Overall, I think for the price ($20 for a set of four at the time this review was written) these aren't too bad. A simple DIY project to add a bit of cork or rubber would make these even better. The Kate Spade Deco Dot Collection is absolutely adorable! All of their products have polka dot wood stains, and the ceramics have these simple but well-placed black polka dots on them, and the same goes for the salt and pepper bowls! The crevices in the wooden holder help to keep the bowls in place, and the salt and pepper bowls are great for mixing up spices or for measuring out spices when cooking/ baking! These are very pretty and whimsical salt and pepper pots, but they don't come with little spoons to use for your seasonings. Thus, they become impractical for their intended use.Luckily, you can use them for all sorts of things, whether trinkets or tiny planters.Very cute. I do, however, want little ceramic spoons to go with them.
