The plastic lids are very convenient and maintain freshness.I make a dessert appetizer at Christmas time for all the people that work at club where we live.We needed these last minute and could not get them before Christmas...tried one last ditch effort and found them on Amazon 3 days before Chrismas!! Will Order these again for next year. The cakes came out so cute! Love These Pans!!I have been using the pans for yearsOn the one hand the lids close around the foil base securely, on the other, the lids close securely to the bases. That is they are difficult to snap on and off without crushing the aluminum base. For what they are they are a decent little container, just know that getting the lids on and off is difficult without causing damage to the base.These are worth the money! They look great, they cook evenly and make a great presentation of my cakes. I love them! The covers are exceptional and stay on once in place. I love these molds. I’ll be sure to purchase more every year!
